Because dressing 'like a woman' is NOT what makes a woman a woman! Also, you get less hassle from men (even now if I dress 'feminine' I get loads more unwanted attention.

And this is a stereotype - loads of lesbians do not 'dress like men'.

Not all lesbians do. My cousin is a lesbian and has known since she was very young...but she always liked to dress like a girl and wear make-up etc...her gf on the other hand, likes to dress more masculine, and she said it's beecause it sort of "defines" who she is, plus she likes mens clothes better. It's not that they feel like men trapped in women's bodies or anything like that, it's just whether the lesbian is more feminine or masculine. =/

by dressing like guys do you mean wear blue jeans and a t-shirt, little or no make-up, short hair? if so you just described more than half of the heterosexual woman on this planet ... they dress that way because its not the 30's or 40's anymore and they arent forced to wear skirts or dresses

I've never seen a guy that wears dresses, heels and spangly earrings where I come from!

jeans are comfortable...high heels aren't. my g/f thinks im sexy in my jeans...she would like to see me in a skirt though lol ...they just aren't comfortable.

idk,why,maybe perhaps they would rather be guys then girls.
