Wash it in cold water with white vinegar(1 cup) and then rinse as normal, you can wash it with the rest of your clothes the vinegar will help hold the color. Make sure it is thoroughly dry before you put it away.

If you've washed it and the smell remains then take some charcoal brikets and put them into an old nylon stocking or pantyhose leg and tie a knot in them. Then put the hoodie and the nylon into a plastic bin and seal it up. Leave it for about a week while the charcoal absorbs the odor and it should be fine after that.

Take it to the cleaners and explain to the people the problem. they have the proper chemicals that will take out the smell and usually not hurt the colors. But If they mess it up it will not be your fault. Good luck

Try washing it; that will probably take care of it by itself. I would say if you don't dare bleach it, then use the hottest water you can. If that doesn't work, the only other solution I could think of would be soaking it in alcohol, such as Everclear.
