Is it the night before Christmas?
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the forum,
Trolls were struggling with proper decorum,
Halters were hung by stalls with care,
in hopes that snow soon would be there.
Ponies in blankets and owners in mittens
Some of which were playing with kittens
When outside the barn arose such a din
everyone ran from the barn as ponies ran in
Their breathes came in gasps , eyes wide with fright,
each owner dashed from the barn ready to fight,
Whaever it was that had caused our babies to scare
looking around , we found no one was there.
Then from above we heard this call
On Slewer , On Stecth , On Razzmyass , On Harvey , On Bailey , On Blue Sage , On Oly , On Baby Doll
It was Santa! and inlew of the deer ,
he was pulling his sleigh with horses & mules of long ear.
We stood in wonder as he began to call
Presents abound for one and all!
To B_N_B he threw a coat rack made of old shoes
Mulereiner got a Pirate saddle for trail clss of course

need a mule to walk the plank, not a horse!
Lisa M got a New Zealand Rug
To Slewer he gave a big get well hug
PH got a saddle too, Another Pirate one
Mulereiner, she was trying to out do.
Brigid found another appy loving soul sister
and CNSdubie got a new horse she promptly named Mister
Mike, the cowboy from Germany,
Got a free trip to the Derby!
To all YAer's he gave them a choice
but said in a low voice
Remember the true meaning of Christmas my dears is to spread love and lots of good cheers.
with that being said he gave each horse a pat and picked up the reins
then started on his way proclaiming through the skies Merry christmas and Happy Moo Year!!!
I know parts don't rhyme but you try being a sleep deprived momma to a newborn and rhymeing!!! lol The germany pasrt was really hard to think of somethign to rhyme with! lol

running in the bay.

can you come and play?
There are many flavors of horses
some are quiet some are gay.
Thoroughbreds and Breyers too
but horses mostly eat and play.
Horses come in many colors
white and spots and black and gray.
But my favorite horse is brown and wild –
running free to play and play.
Wild horses, Wild horses
I’ve seen them romp and play.
I’ve seen them gallop and trot and laugh
