    If what you mother-in-law said was true, how do you explain the faithful who have died far younger than the age of 72?

    Moses 'Wrote My Spirit "(God"s) will not always strive with Man;Therefore Man"s Life 120 yrs.This was at time Human Government was Established after the Flood; (Moses wrote the 90 th Psalm )with 70 yrs being Man"s Life Span,and maybe even 80; But there would be Testing or Trials;

    Should a Person LIVE 70 Yrs with life in all areas

    of a Person"s Life; Be Thankful to God,Cause a lot of People don"t make it;

    The years talked about in the Bible are actually based on the planting and harvesting seasons, so it is quite possible for the aged to live up to 70 or more harvests. All that aside, God gives no guarantees.

    We are not guaranteed any length of life.

    Any of us can die anytime.

    If one dies a 'natural' death, it is often around 70, or 80 years of age.

    That's what Moses referred to in Psalm 90:10
