Is it gross to use a towel on your face after you've used it on your body after the shower?

I use a bath sheet for the body, a hair wrap for the hair, and a small face towel for my face.

Each gets washed once a week.

The washcloths that I use in the shower go into the hamper immediately.

I think its worse to waste the water/energy/detergent to rewash a towel after all it has done is wipe clean water off of someone. I 100% agree- if you are showering correctly (and getting clean) the towel is just damp after and if you hang it up it will dry clean. The one thing I can't do though is use someone else's towel. My kids have their own towels that they use and I wont use (just because they are on the lazy side and dont hang them up)

You are definitely all clean when you come out of the shower, so it shouldn't matter, but I dry my face before I dry my butt. This is mainly so I can see, but also because I'd rather dry my face, then dry my butt with the same towel, rather than the other way around. But I don't wash my towels after just one use.

I'm a germophobe like your family and I NEVER reuse towels. I find it DISGUSTING. You're 100% right, though. You're clean so it really doesn't matter. I need to get over my problem.

Let's see...you take a shower and get all clean. Then you use a towel to dry off the WATER. Your mouth is dirtier than your butt after taking a shower.

I have a nephew who uses TWO towels. One for the waist up, one for the waist down.

Let mom and auntie do what they want, and you do what YOU want. It's YOUR butt and face (I hope folks don't get the two confused. he he).
