Who thinks Fox is ruining the BCS Games?

Question

1. They start the games at 9:00...I hope that's just because Hawaii was in the game and they wanted everyone to see it. It didn't get done until after 1:00 am

2. The presentation is horrible. The ESPN/ABC guys are great and actually know what they're talking about. The Fox guys are MORONS...They have Chris Myers and Jimmy Johnson as their main pregame/halftime guys...They brought in Fran Tarkentin as an analyst also.. WHY?? He's the most biased analyst ever, I mean come on, he played for Georgia. The guy said Matthew Stafford is the most established quarterback in the country!! Are you kidding me?

3. The commentators are just terrible. Brandon Coutu comes on to kick a field goal from 48 yards and the guy says "Wow, they're going to attempt a field goal. Coutu is just 13-19.." (or something like that) Then after he destroys it thru the uprights he reads his paper and says "What a great kicker. His career long is 58 and he had a much better year last year."

You're right about the Fox Commentators being really bad.  I much prefer the ESPN/ABC guys myself as well.  I noticed several incorrect statements last night as to both teams.  And even as a Georgia fan I was kind of scratching my head on the "Stafford will be the number one draft pick in a few years" comment.  I don't expect the commentators to call a game perfectly, but at least do a little homework before the game, guys.

I live in PST and the game got over at 10. That's not really late. Imagine Monday Night Football starting at 5pm and still being in traffic on the way home from work. Yeah, deal with it.

Aside from that, I agree with you on the announcing. It was terrible and completely opinionated. Hearing them try to justify Hawaii and make excuses of them was a HUGE discredit to the sport.

While I don't think Fox has anything to do with when the games start, I do think the commentators were terribly annoying.  I don't know who they were, but they wouldn't shut up.  They were like know-it-alls who don't know anything.  And Jimmy Johnson from the NFL?  Hell, I'd prefer Flutie over Jimmy.  Atleast Flutie is typically a college analyst.

"He who knows nothing knows it the loudest".  I think that saying applies here.

Nah, the BCS is ruining the BCS games.  I say F- the BCS go back to the bowl game and who the F- cares about #1.

Maybe Fox builds on it, but the last time I checked, it is the BCS alone, that ruined BCS games.

fox is terrible. i enjoyed the rose bowl game much more than the sugar bowl game just because it was on abc. fox is terrible with replays, cameras, and commentators and yes they did ruin that game last night
