What do women do at nudist colonies when they have their period?

Do they just walk around with the string hanging down, do they wear underwear, or what do they do?

ok- I expect the 10 points for this one! I happen to be a nudist- and a female. It's So simple, I don't know why nobody can figure it out. Obviously, you use tampons- and you just tuck the string up inside. I always (before I had a hysterectomy) carried a beach bag and kept a supply of extras (along with water bottle, book, etc) and changed frequently to ward off any accident. Also, nudists ALWAYS carry a towel to sit on- that is protocol at nudist clubs and just plain old polite- so if anything happens, just wrap your towel around you and go take care of it. If you're thinking of going, hope this helps. If you were just curious, hope I answered your question!

Oh- no you don't wear underwear as most nudist clubs are not "clothing optional"= they are NUDIST clubs and you are expected to be nude unless weather forbids it!

I have always had extra heavy flow, requiring five days wearing a tampon backed up with maxi pad, and changing the tampon and pad every hour throughout the day. This arrangement prevents any messiness, and I see no sense in wearing textiles at a nudist camp to cover it up. There should be NO EMBARRASSMENT WHATSOEVER about the fact of menstruation. The sight of a sanitary belt, clean pad, or tampon string on a female nudist should provoke no more controversy than the jock supports, elastic leg straps, etc that some male nudists use to keep their genitals comfortable in activities like diving or running. My daughter and granddaughter have always followed my example since the onset of their menstruation, walking around at home and at camp with the tampon/pad combo, no worries.

My friend Billy is actually part of a nudist colony. They actually call him ***** billy because he still hasn't gotten over seeing people in the nude. Poor guy. Anyways, he says that his girlfriend will usually let the string hang out, and flaunt the naturalism behind the flow. If there's ever a mess, the ENCT (Emergency Nudist Cleanup Team) comes to the rescue. Another alternative is to clean up the mess by ingesting it yourself, as we drink the blood of Christ at church. It's a very loving relationship that is nurtured by the natural aspects of period juice.

Women who wear pads at nudist colonies wear their underwear, which it's a lovely reason too cry.

If you want a serious answer. Some wear pants, with or without a sarong. Others use tampons without strings. It is never a problem. If you are with people who really accept the human body, then you also accept the functions of the body, including periods.

It just another of those perceived problems that is not a problem in reality.

First, stop with the colony thing. This isn't 1930. Ants live in colonies.

For women who go to nudist clubs or resorts, they do whatever feels right for them. Some don't go at all until their period is over, some wear bikini bottoms, some tuck the string up and out of sight.

I have worn a tampon with the string tucked up and away. I have also worn just panties and a pad.

Usually, though, I just opt to wear clothes.

Nudist clubs are often "clothing OPTIONAL" (as has been my experience) except for pools and hot tubs, where they should have nothing on. Women who are on their periods should not be using those things anyways.

They don't go to nudist colonies when they are having a period.
