How many of you plan on voting for Ron Paul?

As an American, I am sad to say that I currently have little faith in our government. This is mostly due to the Bush administration as well as Chicago's corrupt political officials. With another election coming up in November, I am literally frightened that some of the candidates running for president could actually become president. I cannot imagine what kind of disaster Hillary or Rudy would produce for our nation. Over the past couple of years, I feel like I have literally watched our rights be infringed upon, our economy decline, and our dollar weaken in comparison to foreign currency. America is facing many problems and we do not need another disaster like Bush leading us.

That is why I am so interested in Ron Paul. His message is completely different and makes total sense. He bases his policy on the constitution and does not buy into the idea of telling the people what they want to hear. I will be voting for Paul and I am just wondering, how many of you will do the same?

I know exactly what you mean and share your frustration with our government. I think many people feel the same way. With all of this talk about Ron Paul I went ahead and did some research on him. Sadly, I do not agree with him on every issue. The good thing is that I do not expect someone to support everything I support and be against everything I am against. Ron Paul is the best presidential candidate I have seen in my lifetime, and I will happily vote for him. It would be the first time for me to feel like I was actually voting for someone rather than against someone else. All I can say is that I hope more and more people are at least exposed to Ron Paul and are able to see where he stands on the issues. If he receives fair exposure and still does not receive popular support, then I'd have no choice but to blame the American people for choosing unwisely yet again. So unless someone even better comes out of no where, I'd say Ron Paul has my vote.

Ron Paul is far and away the best candidate to run in the last 20 years. It is a great pity that the media and the public dismisses him as a loony. He has been right about everything--the wars, the economy, the failure to put American taxpayers before murderous African dictators. Help Ron Paul by electing his followers at local state and national level even if his candidacy in 2008 is doomed to failure the message and the policies he advocates are still the best for the USA.

Yep-I am. I already caucused for him here in Iowa. I don't think McCain, Huckabee, or Giuliani will make it over the long haul.

Paul gets more money from supporters per minute, than any of the other candidates. This county is afraid of someone who knows so much about the economy, the war, and standing up for our Constitutional rights. That's why the media won't pay much attention to him.

When he runs as an Independent, they'll be forced to pay attention.

Agree 100% with Glenn. When are you brainwashed Paul Zombies going to wake up and realize that even if Paul wins, HE CAN'T CHANGE ANYTHING. He can withdraw troops from the world, but abolishing the 16th Amendment (how is this constitutional?), the department of education, our current monetary policy and other various changes need support from CONGRESS. Paul is running for president, not dictator and he can't legally perform any of these changes without violating the constitution he claims to love so much.

Who am I kidding, it's like talking to a pack of trained monkeys. Ron Paul says "jump" and you jump. You people make me sick.

I doubt I'll ever get the Chance. living in Indiana, think we're the 6th to last to hold a primary, he'll be gone before then, and like you stated he doesn't tell us what we want to hear.

So, I believe him when he says he will not run as an independent. He knows the only thing him running as an independent will do is Guarantee the Democrats win.

    Not voting for Ron Paul.

    Q. Which of your rights have been violated?

perhaps that whole september 11th, 2001 thing had a little role in slumping our economy, which we bounced back in very little time. But let us not think of things like that, because Bush is bad, bush is bad. Im upset with bush on several issues, but lets give credit where credit is due and not critize him for things that are not his doing.

Ron Paul's "solutions" are unrealistic and would result in further international complications.

Also, for those who criticize the GOP, 2 words, Joe lieberman

I like Ron Paul and think he deserves more respect than he gets from his own party.

It's the GOP who have marginalized him.

He will not win the nomination.
