Ingrown hair?
I have an ingrown hair on my crotch. Not the kind where it comes out and then goes back in, but never came out in the first place. What do I do? Leave it alone? Someone said to pop it like a pimple, but that sounds like a bad idea, not to mention painful as hell.
...What's a compress? Just like, a washcloth with warm water pressed on it?

Put a warm compress on it, it should come to a head.
You can pop it when it comes to a head or continue with a warm compress until it pops itself.

you may need to apply pressue to let some of the puss out.
that is only if it has a head.
EDIT: yes it is a wash cloth with warm water.
