I am giving you a link to a video about how to remove wax...I know it works because candle wax dripped all over my tablecloth which has been handed down for generations and it came out!!!!

Wax on nylon will be a tough one...if it was cotton you could layer the fabric with paper towels and use an iron to heat the wax off the way you would with batik, but to get it hot enough to get all the wax out you will probably melt the nylon.
Try calling your local fabric stores. The better ones have older ladies with years of fabric experience. They may also have special cleaning products for this.
Oh, and you could try the freezer, maybe you can freeze it and break off part of the wax. You could also try pouring boiling water through it, again, that might ruin the shirt.

If it's hardened on, sort of crusty, it should come out if you cover the stain with paper towels and then take a warm iron on top of the paper towels.
The warmth from the iron will penetrate the paper towels to the wax, and the paper towels will absorb the wax You'll need to do this a few times, but eventually it'll come out.
I've done this with other fabrics many times, especially getting wax out or a rug and wax off of my shirt. VOILA!

Get it cold.....then remove the wax the best you can. Scrub just that spot with hot soapy water and baking soda on the inside and outside of the stained area.
If that doesn't do it....... get out your colander from the kitchen ... stretch the shirt out over the colander as tight as you can.... Run as hot of water as you can over the shirt......this can take quite a while..... just keep doing this over and over until the wax is totally out....
Hope this helps!
**** if nothing gets it out.....go find a matching decal patch and carefully hand sew it on over the spot... he will then have an enhanced shirt.

For washable fabrics: Pour boiling water through the fabric, than wash with detergent solutions, also before you wash, scrape off excess wax. Blot with a POG or a citrus solvent. And good luck.

It's this great cleaning spray named Awesome. You can find it at a hardware store or a super market. It gets out stains on anything.

is it the wax? or the stain left by the wax?
if it is wax: freeze it; after 24 hrs in freezer, it will scrape right off
for stain go to google and google "how to remove stains?"

Dawn or Orange Clean. Maybe Goo Gone. If those don't work, you're outta luck!

Soak the shirt in hot water. Run it through the wash. Repeat
