So, who wants to convert a Pagan?

OK, I've got 20 minutes left of my lunch hour and I'm bored because I can't go out because it's raining so here's a challenge.

Who thinks they can convert me to their religion? Please don't tell me to read the Bible or the Qu'ran because I've read them both at least half a dozen times.

Give me three good reasons why I should convert to your faith and not just 'Because my religion is the only true one' etc. I mean *good* reasons.

Off you go . . . .

Update:

tawae : I'm already a Pagan and I love the cookies and mead!!! LOL

You should worship ALEC THE DALEK because you get a free jar of pickles, a chance to join me and my lentil plantation full of Dalek Brides (500 and counting, we live in Utah so no one really notices or cares) and when the time comes when our hellish army of human-Dalek offspring attack and conquer the Earth, you'll be among the lucky ones not sent to the Pickle Mines of Brinius IV.

Being a Pagan I wouldn't want to convert you so I say right on and keep up the good work!

I think anyone who tells you otherwise is crazy for trying to convert someone in the first place if someone truly believes in something no one is going to change that!

    Convert to Duct Tape:

Like The Force, it's got a dark side and a light side, and it holds the universe together.

But except in the hands of the very inexperienced it's not as dangerous.

Belief in Duct Tape is also compatible with most other faiths, excepting the followers of Inevitable Degeneration, who believe things falling apart is the natural order and that interfereing with this is a sin.

I am a former pagan. Practiced white magic and all that. Now I'm a Christian. I was saved 7 years ago. I have never had as much adversity in my life and I have never had so much peace in my life. Jesus didn't only save my soul, He gave me a new life and even through trials and tribulations I find joy and strength! I would never choose another way, because now I've found the Truth. No one can talk you into it, no one can explain it. God, the Father will draw You to Him in HIS WAY AND HIS TIME. You will then have the choice to accept or deny Christ as Saviour. I used to read the Bible too, didn't understand a thing, because you must receive the mind of Christ to understand. Seek and you will find. He is the greatest treasure this world has to offer. Don't leave earth without Him! May God Bless you and keep you and shine the light of His countenance upon you.

I am Pagan and thus do not believe in conversion. But I do believe in buscuits (cookies) and mead.

And oh Simon T. You are such a party pooper.

Even a blind man doesn't stop to look for the evidence. He just knows its here.

Can I convert you to Paganism? :-P

We have cookies and mead. How can anyone say no to that?

Edit: I know, but I can't really convert you to anything else, and I didn't want to miss out on all the fun... But I must admit, the Duct Tape thing is pretty convincing.

    O.K.

What evidence do you have that your belief system is correct?

If you have no evidence, then why believe it? Why not believe in dragons, unicorns, Zeus, Odin, etc. or an of the other mythological creatures?

You can not rely too much on apocryphal information or personal experience, as this is too easily affected by random chance effects and by the selective ways that we perceive and remember things.

If you have no evidence then may I suggest that you should become an agnostic atheist and not believe in anything that does not have supportive evidence.

Well, look at it this way....how can ou look at the world and sathee is no God at all. If you study science you see that every part of your body has a specific role ad intricate details that make it jnique. Now put tha into perspective. Ever single organism and nonliving thing in the world has a purpose. How ca anyone dare say that there is no one watching over this creation? Darwin said that animals evolved to adapt to their enviornment. This does not make sense because of how beautiful the world is. Animals did not need to become beatiful to survive! Even if the theor of evolution was supposedly true, there must have been a mastermind to it.

I also suggest you research on Bible Codes. That is a real eye opener.

I hope I could be of help. God Bless.
