your Dr can go through the risks involved -There are a few risks with having your eggs collected as they use a needle to extract the eggs but your Dr would talk about these before you sign the paperwork. can i just say that there are other options with ivf you can do instead of masterbation (special condom which you can purchase from the clinic) and you can choose how many eggs are fertilized and can have them frozen. you can talk to your dr about all these options if they concern you.

Please don't. In vitro is both extremely expensive and extremely immoral. It is several mortal sins combined. It usually requires some man to masturbate in order to produce the sperm (1st horrible act) and then they plant several fertilized eggs (human beings) into your uterus knowing full well that several will not survive. This is murder. You are murdering several of your own children. It is a barbaric behavior that many people spend thousands of dollars on. Please don't hurt Our Lord and yourselves so grieveously and rethink such a hideous act. Consider adoption instead while continuing normal relations with your husband. Don't play God.

You should discuss risks with your doctor.
