your luteal phase is the day of ovulation to the day your period starts...its typically about 14 days.

you need to know which date you ovulate to calculate this.

start charting, checking your cervix and CM to get a pretty good guess each month.

took me a bit do you know your cycle so if you know your date due for period count back 14 days, BUT check this out i was doing and ovulation test for days before and found i had a 17 day i caught the surge on the 15th. so i am due on the 31 i am super regular so i ovulated on the 15 counted till im due from day after thats your phase gotto know when you ovulate.

so i am not 14 days tey say the average is 14 but that can throw everyghing off..

The day after you ovulate you are then 1 day past ovulation. You count until you start your period.
