Wedding day attire?? Wedding Colour?? Arrgghhh!!?
Our wedding is in early July. It is my 2nd and his 1st. We're having it at home and alls pretty well under control EXCEPT I have no idea what I will b wearing. And I want 2 choose colours but until I know what to wear, I just dont know.
What kind of things do people wear for a 2nd wedding in winter? What kind of colours? I guess I need to go out and shop but I just have no idea what I want to wear or what to look for. :-( Absolutely no idea.
I want to kind of theme the day around the beach because we met at the beach and our invites have embossed gold shells we're using driftwood, shells and bali flags decorations, I was kind of thinking of yellow and aqua or turquiose theme colours, but dont want 2 buy anything in these colours yet cos I dont want them to clash with what we are wearing. If I did use these colours, what colour gown would go? Yellow will definitely be used, as we are doing a butterfly release and the butterflies are yellow. Can anyone help with some ideas please?

why don't you just go with a simple wedding dress in a champagne colour. its still very classy but not white.
don't wear an aqua dress. you are still the bride. leave those colours for the bridesmaids.

Choose two colors you like. If you want wintery colors, then maybe go with blue and silver. You can wear whatever you want, any wedding. There are some really beautiful pale blue wedding dresses out there and even some silvery ones. You can always wear white if you want. I'm a colorful girl, so I plan to wear a colorful dress for my wedding.

Honestly, whatever you want. I don't want to be cliche, but I don't think you should worry about what is the norm.

Well, the terms you're using sound gorgeous! But I'm not sure about wine and eggplant (which I loosely interpret to be a burgundy and a dark purple). Also, champagne can mean several things - just google it. If your dress is more on the light gold side, I think that would be stunning as part of a gold, cream and burgundy scheme.

Well.............. your 2nd and his first. You can wear a wedding gown if you like. Ask your fiance, since it is his first does he want to see the "bride" walking down the aisle? If he doesn't really care then I guess any color would do. There are beautiful shorter wedding dresses that would fill both scenarios'..

Champagne is a pretty color, almost the color of golden sand that would be beautiful with your beach theme... http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.js...

I think a champagne or ivory dress is the way to go. Something to keep with the beachy feel - so no full skirts, maybe in silk, & you could put a flower in your hair.
I love these ...

I would go for something simple, yet elegant. Check out this site. It has lots of different dresses and ideas:

i think you should have the classic white dress and he should have a black tux
make the bridesmade dresses pink either hot pink or baby pink...it would go niceley and for the guys black tux and a blue band for their waste (baby blue) nice soft colors

You can wear white, or another color.
I love the idea of yellow and turquoise - and you can wear white, ecru...
Or go with color -
