How common would it be?
For a normal straight woman to visit a brothel for a fling with another female out of curiosity? Does anyone know someone who has done this or have you done it?
2 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoIs it too early to send out the invitations?
Okay we have just under 10 weeks to the wedding. The invites are addressed and stamped. Should I send them out or wait another week?
21 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoHow to decide on my wedding band?
We bought a wedding band, well its on layby anyway. I couldnt find what I wanted anywhere so settled on a white gold band, hammer set with 7 diamonds. I do like it a lot but now have found the wedding ring of my dreams. Its exactly what I wanted with diamonds, the right price, and gorgeous. I like them both. My fiance says I should have the one I love the most, or even both if I want. I just cant decide. Is it acceptable to wear 2 wedding bands? one on either side of the engagement ring? thought maybe I could wear the plainer one as the wedding band and then the lovely diamond band above the engagment ring. What do people think of this idea? It is not that I am being greedy, I love them both so much and cant decide. The plainer band is more practical, and traditional but the other one is so sparkly and has the bling I dreamt of. Which would u choose? would you choose both?
here is a link for the 2nd ring
5 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoWhat would you think if?
I am a bride getting married for the 2nd time. It'll be my fiance's first wedding. I went shopping looking for my dress but couldnt find the right one. I didnt want white, so I was looking at turquoise and aqua as my wedding theme is beach and butterflies. Anyways I was not looking for a traditional gown, as it is a backyard wedding, but I did have a style in mind. Anyways very disheartened and after walking miles and miles and miles and trying on hundreds of dresses, I found one the exact style I wanted, with the hem length and handkerchief type hem that I wanted, at an absolute bargain price.....only it was white!!!
I bought the dress and am now in the process of beading it with some crystals in the turquiose colour, and clear. I am also going to make a turqoiise organza shoulder wrap to go with it. I think it will come up really pretty but, what would you think of a bride, who has children from her previous marriage, wearing white? Is it a little too inappropriate?
13 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoInvitations?
How far in advance do you send out your invites?
I havent bought or even started making them yet. There is a little under 4 months till the big day.
Should I send out the interstate and over seas ones before the local ones? The people involved that are travelling already know and have made their travel arrangements, the invite is just a formality...........I just have no idea when to send them out. Thanks for your input.
8 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoCan a titanium ring have diamonds set into it?
If I was to purchase a titanium ring online, could I then take it to my local jeweller to have diamonds set into it and have it engraved?
Thanks for any help.
4 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoWhy wont people get this?
My fiance and I are getting married in July. We want a really nice wedding at home and I'm planning on doing the catering myself. We're having the ceremony at 2pm so I imagine it'll be 3 by the time we eat. We dont want a sit down meal. I was planning on serving finger foods. Lots of yummy ones that are basically "heat and eat" type of thing. Yummy dips, cheese platters etc. I want to have loads there for people to eat, most catering companies only allocate so many pieces per head. We're also providing wine, beer and punch. A cake, chocolate fountain, strawberries, pavlova.
We only have so much to spend and I know I can get a lot more for my money by doing my own catering. (I have a sister and grown up neice ready to help me, as well as a supportive and helpful fiance)
Im actually looking forward 2 doing it. My problem is other family members wont leave it alone, they keep saying I am taking on 2 much and should get caterers in. They cant seem 2 understand this is what what we want.
27 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoDoes anyone know where I can get?
I recently saw a post with an NFL team wedding ring. It came from Zales. (It was actually very tasteful)
It gave me an idea for getting my fiance a Pittsburgh Penguins wedding band, as he is absolutely obsessed with them. He loves the idea, and i have googled it and searched but I cant find a ring with the Penguins logo. Just an offchance that someone might be able to send me a link??
Thanks
4 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoWedding day attire?? Wedding Colour?? Arrgghhh!!?
Our wedding is in early July. It is my 2nd and his 1st. We're having it at home and alls pretty well under control EXCEPT I have no idea what I will b wearing. And I want 2 choose colours but until I know what to wear, I just dont know.
What kind of things do people wear for a 2nd wedding in winter? What kind of colours? I guess I need to go out and shop but I just have no idea what I want to wear or what to look for. :-( Absolutely no idea.
I want to kind of theme the day around the beach because we met at the beach and our invites have embossed gold shells we're using driftwood, shells and bali flags decorations, I was kind of thinking of yellow and aqua or turquiose theme colours, but dont want 2 buy anything in these colours yet cos I dont want them to clash with what we are wearing. If I did use these colours, what colour gown would go? Yellow will definitely be used, as we are doing a butterfly release and the butterflies are yellow. Can anyone help with some ideas please?
9 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoHow do I tactfully do this??
We are planning a small wedding at our home. We wanted to only invite people who are special to us, close family and a few dear friends. The problem I am having is that my family is big. I have 5 sisters who all have big families themselves.
Some of my nieces and nephews I have a lot to do with, and am very close to. We want them there. (I am talking late teen to early 20 age group)
But then there are others I am not close to, who drink and take drugs and are just undesireables, and likely to bring uninvited guests, I had christmas at my house last year and one nephew turned up drunk with this woman we'd never met before, with 3 kids who sat, ate and got drunk while her kids ran wild, I hope I dont sound too terrible here. My fiance doesnt like them or want them at the wedding. How do I tactfully invite the ones we are close to but not the ones that I know will ruin the wedding by getting drunk, overstaying their welcome and vomitting in the yard (I am not exaggerating either!)
14 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoNo guests at the wedding??
My fiance and I are planning our wedding, It is a pretty informal and personal affair at our home. We're trying to work on who to invite etc. Here is our problem. My fiance doesnt care to invite anyone. He is definitely a no fuss type of guy, doesnt like parties etc.
He says he is happy for me to invite whomever I want but I am not to pressure him into inviting anyone. He said he just wants to get married and would be happy for it to be just me and him and a couple of witnesses. He said he is happy for me to invite my friends and family because it is "my" day.
He is an only child and of course his parents will be there. But he has no extended family. He has invited a couple of close friends, but others, like his boss who he has known for 20 years, he doesnt want to invite. They know about the wedding, I think they'll be offended. Do I just leave it at that? I have a huge family and I feel guilty now, like perhaps I should of just gone away to marry him without any fuss at all.
6 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoName dramas.....?
Just got back from a meeting from our marriage celebrant and I am disappointed and confused that I am going to have to sign my name as my old married name on the marriage documents.
I am divorced, have been for 2 and a half years, and have not used my old married name for 4 years. I went back to my maiden name soon as we separated.
My passport was issued in 2005 with my maiden name, my bank accounts and social security, tax file number and employment details, superannuation, everything is in my maiden name which I have been using for over 4 years.
Why does my marriage ceremony and marriage papers have to be signed with my old married name??? It just doesnt seem right. I dont want to start off my new life by being referred to as a person I thought I had left behind many years ago.
I am so disappointed and distraught to know that I will be referred to and have to sign in my old married name. I didnt want that to be part of my marriage celebration. Am I being silly? Im so disappointed

Can anyone give me some suggestions on ways my kids can be involved in our marriage ceremony? Maybe a way to blend the family? I am not sure what to do to get them involved.
Thanks.
7 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoWedding ring?
I bought my boyfriend (now fiance) a really nice, expensive white gold ring for our 2 year anniversary. He loves it and wears it on a chain round his neck.
We are planning our wedding for July and on a budget. he has told me not to spend money on a wedding band. He wants to use the ring I gave him as a wedding band. He has never really worn it on his finger because it only fitted his wedding finger, and in his job it is too dangerous for him to wear a ring anyway.
He said he loves this ring and it will do him for a wedding band. I guess we can get it polished up so it looks new. I was wondering what others think about using this ring? would you do it? He is insisting that he wants to wear this ring as his wedding band. I thought maybe if he doesnt want a new ring I could buy him a new chain to wear it on when he is working.
Is this what you would do? Or would you just go and get a new ring? He says he wouldnt find one he likes as much as the one he has and that it means a lot 2 him

1 AnswerChristmas1 decade agoWhen to tell a child santa isnt real...???
My 13 year old daughter who has cerebral palsy and ausperges, still believes in santa. her 15 year old sister is embarassed by this, especially when her sister gets so excited at seeing santa. I am happy to let her keep on believing but I am worried kids at school will be cruel if they realise she still believes. I think the truth would be better and kinder coming from me. I just dont know how or when to tell her.
What do you think? Should I let her enjoy this one last christmas believing?
17 AnswersChristmas1 decade agoI just cant get into christmas any more....what is wrong with me?
I used to love christmas time. It was my favourite time of year but now I cant get into it. It just all seems so tacky and just a big commercial crapfest. How do I rediscover the magic?
I think it is maybe a money thing.....but still, I miss the magic.
8 AnswersChristmas1 decade agoI cant decide on a colour for my wedding theme?
We met at the beach so I would like to have a beach theme wedding...my favourite colour is blue and I was thinking of a sea blue green colour, like an aqua....it is something I would like, but here is my problem. I have been married before and at my first wedding the colour was also blue, tho it was a deep almost purple blue. Do you think it would matter to have blue again? It will be a totally different blue. What do you think?
13 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoCant find the question I need?
sometime in the last week someone posted a question asking what peoples engagement rings looked like. A lady answered who posted a pic of her set. I wanted to print out the photo of the set because I loved her wedding band and her engagement ring is similar to mine. I cant find this question now, despite trolling thru everywhere!
I think the lady's name was "proud to be 51" or something along those lines. Can anyone help me track down this question or if that lady is out there I would appreciate her contacting me. I know this probably sounds odd.
4 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoRing query?
Well he fineally proposed! And the ring is gorgeous...half carat round cut diamond....sparkles sooooo much, with baguette diamonds either side. The setting is in white gold (or platinum, not sure) but the band's yellow gold.
I adore it!.....I usually wear white gold or 2 tone gold.
I have another lovely band he gave me that is yellow gold with white gold top and bottom. We both like 2 tone. The jeweller told him that if I prefered the ring in white gold it will cost twice as much to make a new one, simply because this ring is old stock an been marked down drastically. he said they can rhodium plate it to make it white. I dont know what to do, nor do I know if i like that idea. Is this worth doing? I was wondering if I should just leave it how it is, I do love it, an get a white gold wedding band, which will give me the two tone look, or get a two tone wedding band. I dont really want a plain yellow band. What do you thinK? Would it be odd having a white gold band beside the yellow?
