I cant decide on a colour for my wedding theme?

We met at the beach so I would like to have a beach theme wedding...my favourite colour is blue and I was thinking of a sea blue green colour, like an aqua....it is something I would like, but here is my problem. I have been married before and at my first wedding the colour was also blue, tho it was a deep almost purple blue. Do you think it would matter to have blue again? It will be a totally different blue. What do you think?

Aqua blue is perfect for your beach theme...and will be special to the two of you.

The other wedding is the past...no one is going to say anything about it. In addition, you say it is a totally different blue, so it shouldn't detract from your special day.

It's your wedding, leave the superstitions out of it and enjoy how ever you like. Go with the aqua blue, it's actually very beautiful and goes perfect with the beach theme of your party. Best wishes.

Nope not too many themes, broad themed weddings are more fun anyway. We're doing almost the exact same thing... calla lilies and all. In a garden in November (Great minds think alike). The giant yellow/orange gerber daisies look suprisingly nice with the calla. We ended up just going with calla because of the cost. But black, red and gold and it's in fall... could you do... "warm at heart?" with pretty little candles, pumpkins, leaves and lilies in your centerpieces. That would allow you to bring pretty much any fall-related theme you like to the table. And since your colors are all warm colors "warm at heart" could work wonderfully. Maybe autumn leaves sprinkled down your aisle. I think it could be beautiful.

Personally, I would pick out the bridesmaids dresses first. My friend had her heart set on lavendar and silver. All the dresses we found in those colors were hideous!!!! But we found a stunning dress for $80 that was deep sea-green! It was too late, though. We ended up with ugly $150 lavendar dresses that made our boobs look weird!

I don't think it makes a difference that you've already used a shade of blue. Just make sure you steer clear of that deeper blue you had before...that should keep everyone happy.

    Good Luck at the planning!

If it's a totall different blue in a totally different setting with totally different people, who is even going to think of that but you? I say, go for it. It sounds pretty.

aqua blue is totally different from dark violet blue, and would be great for your beach wedding.

I think that would be cute! Very beach-y and pretty. And maybe for an accent color you can use silver or a cream color. Congrats :)

Sounds like two different colors, so I think that would be fine. Congrats

as long as you are not thinking about your other wedding nothing else matter.. forget the other one existed and just plan what makes you and your fiance happy.
