I'll answer that with another question: Why is William Hung not in the Rock n' Roll Hall of fame? The only difference, Hung has inspired more fans than Leaf. But they both pretended to be something in their 15 seconds of fame.

So does Tim Couch haha. Although Tim Couch had it rough in Cleveland so I can't really blame him that much. Our O-Line then was absolutely terrible.
Ryan Leaf on the other hand is just a flop, plain and simple.

Because I played in the NFL from 1989-1994 and I've never heard of him!
