Yes, 4/2/07- I am very sorry for your loss. If you feel the need to read a book concerning the loss of your baby the best book I found was A Silent Sorrow (see note below). I really helped me out during this tough time.
I bled heavily for a few days then spotted for nearly 3 weeks after then. My next cycle was awful.
My doctor said that if I was not "filling a pad and hour" to not worry about it. But, if you are worried be sure to call your doctor's office and get the reassurance you need. You should be going in for a follow-up visit soon anyway.

I have had 4 D&C's believe it or not. My second d&c was because of a miscarriage, the baby would not miscarry but was dead so they had to take it. But yes its normal to bleed a little, even up to the point of when you should start your normal cycle. If you still have problems after that you should definatly get with your gyno....they may need to put you on birthcontrol or change the birth control. Hope you feel better and sorry for your loss.

Hi huny!!!
I'ts a miracle for us to find each other again in this site, I haven't seen you around for awhile, now I know why...
I'm very, very sorry for what happened, but you have to be strong. Now there's a new little angel in Heaven, watching and taking care for you and your husband. Soon you'll have the chance to try again, but for the moment, be very careful with your health. I guess bleeding is kind of normal as long as is not too much, but please keep yourself receiving the doctor's attention.
I send you a big hug from the bottom of my heart, you're not alone...
Best wishes, and thank you for asking.

I had a d and c back in September. I bled for 3 to 4 weeks after. My doctor said it was normal as long as it isn't really heavy.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I know exactly how you feel. Yes it is normal to bleed for weeks after as long as its not too heavy.
Also if you're having a hard time dealing with it, I found a reallly nice webiste and chat group called slient grief they helped me a lot.
TAke care and good luck.

I have no idea what's a d&c but the bleeding part is not good for sure. Go and check it up with the doctor that supervised you during your pregnancy or with another doctor.
Good luck. :)
