Were the tornadoes God's punishment for voting Huckabee?
Okay - I'm just poking fun at the FUNdamentalists...but ya know, after Pat Robertson linked Hurricane Katrina and terrorist attacks to legalized abortion, I just HAD to pose this question.
I certainly do not mean to diminish the pain, suffering and loss to those tornado victims.
But the very smug, self-righteous evangelicals ALWAYS seem to blame natural disasters as some form of retribution from God.
So...taken in the context of humor, what do you think?
Is God punishing us for giving southern state wins to Huckabee?
Again - my intent is NOT to disrespect those who are suffering from the tornadoes.
Robertson, Jerry Falwell and other evangelicals certainly were heartless in their braying about God punishing the victims in other disasters...what would they say about these recent events?

How approximately this: did God inflict everlasting stupidity on 40 9% of the american balloting public as punishment for them helping to place that monkey-guy Bush interior the white residing house? (and that i don't sense responsible for saying that!)

The reason I came across your question is that I wondered the exact same thing and searched it on the internet. Situations like this show just how selective these fundamentalists are about what they site as "God's Wishes". To me it just goes to my point that is really is no god.

No,
but they should be ashamed for just voting for him just because he used to be a Baptist Minister. Romney has the same values and actually would have a shot to beat McCrazy and the Dems, but he's a dreaded "Mormon", ooooo,
"So lets just screw up the Republican nomination and allow McCrazy to get the nomination who no TRUE republican wants."
P.S. My prayers are out to my hometown Jackson, TN

I was going to LOL @ this question, but you make an excellent point. I get the feeling we won't be hearing this perspective from Billy Graham or Pat Robertson anytime soon.

Guys this is not funny at all. There have been many deaths and people are suffering. I am not a religious person but I know when the line has been crossed.
