It extremely relies upon on the vet, the adventure and the prepare. i know my vet makes tremendously sturdy funds even though it took him awhile to get there. He pronounced the 1st 10-15 years have been extremely problematical b/c he cared so deeply bearing directly to the animals a million/2 the time if the owner could no longer locate the money for the maintenance or the bill he's take the animal off of the vendors hand rather in the event that they needed him to. i think of he pronounced while he first started on his very own he wound up with 12 horse 4 cows some goats and approximately 6 canine...... all b/c the orginal vendors might have extremely surrendered them than pay the expenses. i know one vet that still makes sturdy funds, yet he nevertheless takes in animals while human beings camn't affor dhis expenses. it is sturdy which you extremely prefer to do ti for the affection of the animals and not the money. basically be arranged to no longer make lots the 1st few years via paying pupil loans and the finished new vet component that seems to impression very almost all vets .... the animal for the bill lol

I don't know why people don't take their pets into a vet's office! The most common answer is, I dont have the money! Well WTF would you do if your car broke down, you broke your arm, your baby MIGHT have a fever??? You sure as heck wouldn't get on the computer and expect to come up with a home remedy! NO, you would make sure that you took your car to a shop, yourself or a child to a doctor even though it costs money, right? Exactly. I will never understand where the notion that pets are disposable came from.

Okay now I always assumed they love the animals and of course they make money that's why we all work anyway. But they decided to take the risk of being bitten, growled at or all the other necessary risk (depending on the animal) because they love the animals.

Never noticed what my vet drives usually he is in his office not in his car. Doesn't matter to me but hope he drives a really nice one by now he has helped so many animals he deserves it!

As for why ppl don't take pets to the Vet --got me there just keep reminding them to do so and they will take payment plans at most vet's offices. Most visits aren't that much anyway as long as you provide at least yearly visit to your vet.

Totally agree with you on this one. Why ask my dog is sick and he's swollen and such, how long until I should take him to the vet? What should I do? This drives me crazy. If you are at all concerned, why get on here and expect us to know the answer? Why not call the local vet and see if they can answer the questions? Why get a pet in the first place if you can't even care for it medically? It's crazy.

They are the ones in the office building that dont know how to treat animals and wont allow you to make payments when you dog gets bit by a big dog.

They are mean cause they want you to get all those nasty shots, and they make you wait. they want you just to bring in your dog so they can charge you lots and make lots of money. My maltidoodleuggleman is important to me, but I cant afford all the medical bills and MY vet is so expensive.

My dog has worms can I give her something over the counter? she has allergies and my vet doesn't want to see her cause I should get a home remedy.

Oh Why is my dog lethargic. and she is having puppies and foaming at the mouth also... my vet is really busy and charges to much..

I dont wait I take my dogs immediately! I dont do home remedies. I know my vet will help if I need it. make payments, I to am a head right now. I dont take chances with my dogs. They are my babies.

im sure they have to make some kind of profit or they would be out of business

and there is such a thing as a student loan or grants..

and i for one never go to the dr my dogs go more than i do but its usually just there shots or check up thank god none have ever really been sick..

i say do like i do and when you have any extra pay the vet extra then you have credit when you need it ..we try to keep our dog vet 300 ahead and the horse vet 400 ahead ..plan ahead has worked best for me,,

With you 100%. Does anyone realize what it costs to go to vet school and run a vet clinic? No sane person would go into the field for the money. You have to care about animals to do that much work for such little pay.

My daughter-in-law is a vet. She spent about $100,000 for her schooling. She drives a Subaru and lives on 20 acres in a 50 year old house. Does she sound rich? I don't think so. She does it for the total love of animals.
