Can you deduct mileage that you travel to school, meaning college?

A friend of mine says you can, but I have never heard of doing that. And if you can where is it entered?

    Transportation expenses to and from school are not deductible.

    Nope. I don't believe commuting to and from work is a deduction either. Only the work related trips when on the clock.

    no, you can only deduct business, medical, moving and charitable miles.

    yes.......u called that STUDENT CREDIT........even your school supplies.

    my accountant even advice me to go back to school so i could earn that credit for nxt year....lol
