cat starting to go to the toilet in the house?
our cat never used to cause us any problems, she was allowed in or out of the house whenever she liked. she had a perfect life. At ten years old she has suddenly started going to the toilet in the house. no change in diet or routine. Please help the cat so we can let her spend more time inside when it's cold.
ps cat tray does not work or letting her outside more, cannot have cat flap as very old doors.
problem is with solid waste
no does not use the toilet, did not want to use words like sh*t

Your cat uses the toilet! Please come to my house and talk mine into it! Haha. Jk. I do wonder if she is having incontinence problems for some reason, possibly crystals in her urine? See if your vet will allow you to bring in a kitty urine sample (but not the kitty) it only costs about 15 bucks. Also you can just go right in to the vet's first and they'll give you a cup of these black beads (5$) that resemble kitty litter so your kitty can pee on them and you just scoop 'em up and bring them back to the vet. It's so hard to get pee from a cat otherwise! They just won't go if they know you want them to. :) The only other thing I can think of is if she is angry with you, my cat used to do it when I left him for too long/vacation/etc.
