What is Patriotism?

having the courage and the will to love your country when it is right and to demand that it change when it is wrong.

A love of one's country. This does not mean loving your country to the detriment of all others, but rather doing what is the best for your country in a domestic and international sense and working hard to change it when things have gone off course.

Patriotism is pointless. Nations come and they go. In the end, none of it matters.

Feeling sentimental toward your country. For me personally it is about engaging in debate, having and fulfilling civic duties, being optimistic and sharing certain values with others. It also means lively dinner table debate over politics, at least in my family.

Love and loyal or zealous support of one's own country.
