    Icons?

some good ones for more action buttons are Trinity but it takes a while to set up for each character

All the CT mods are good. plus theres a bar mod of them as well for more action buttons.

Light headed is also a really good one, get that and tomtom it allows quest info from wow head in game so you can get cords for places to go for quests. when you load it and in the quest panel there should be a little tab at the end of the questlog click on that and go thru the pages for cords when you get the ones for the quest click and it will put them on your map.

You won't get in trouble for add ons but if you try to use too many of them sometimes your game can mess up forcing you to turn them off or reinstall. No add-on is really going to help you level except for maybe a coordinates mod so you can find quest objectives easier. I recommend these mods for general purpose awesomeness though... Atlas Loot Atlas Auctioneer Mobinfo2 Koordinator To add add-ons you simply download them and then extract the .zip or .rar file to the "add-ons" folder which you will find via World of Warcraft --> Interface --> Add Ons. They should be turned on by default but at the character selection screen you can manage your add ons and turn them either on or off.

Nurfed panel is pretty cool if you're looking for a change in appearance, but some basics to live with are titan panel, and bean counter. Other than those find some good inventory mods like loot. It's best to experiment, and see what "adds" to your gaming experience.

Oh yeah, class specific, Healbot is great.

Bongos will give you a bunch of bars you can put actions or macros or whatever onto. Just go to http://wow.curse.com/ they have a ton of awesome add ons there.
