Why doesn't Jesus' resurrection have a date?

The birth of Jesus, 25th December. Fair enough.

But why doesn't his death and resurrection have a specific date each year?

I heard it was something to do with the moon phases...?

I've asked a lot of Christians and Catholics and no one can answer me.

Update:

Ok, so if we celebrate Christmas on a specific day then why not the same for Easter?

Christ was put to death on Passover, which is the 14th of Nisan. He rose three days and three nights later, which, that year, would have been the first day of the week, or Sunday. The birth date is not accurate, it was an amalgamation of a Pagan feast and Christianity. The best guess I have seen is Jesus was born in the Fall, probably late September.

Keep in mind the Jewish calender is different from the Gregorian calender, which is what we use.

You know Jesus wasn't actually born December 25? It was actually estimated that He was born sometime in the summer.

And as for the Ressurection, the Romans and the people who crucified Jesus wouldn't admit that He ressurrected. They tried to have everyone say His body was just stolen, so people wouldn't know WHO He was.

Jesus was not born on Dec. 25th. That is simply the day we celebrate it.
