Laptop help?
What laptop do you recommend? I am purchasing one in Australia but need recommendations on brands. It will be mostly used for email and photos, internet etc.
I would like at least 2GB Ram and at least 160GB HDD but essentially would like 250GB HDD.
I am hoping to spend $1500 - $2000 (plus warranty, word, excel costs)
HP? Toshiba? Dell?

1 AnswerOther - Australia1 decade agoDo you believe in a higher power?
What is all this fuss of 'believers' and 'nonbelievers' ?? Why so much prejudice? It shouldn't matter whether we believe in the same thing. Every person believes in SOMETHING. How can you be so naive as to say that non-christians are the fools? That it is amusing if someone doesn't believe? That they are "morons" because they don't believe in jesus?
Why don't you take a look outside the square and realise that Christianity numbers are dropping fast. Why not be open minded for once because the world is changing and your great great grandchildren may face a world without religion??
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy doesn't Jesus' resurrection have a date?
The birth of Jesus, 25th December. Fair enough.
But why doesn't his death and resurrection have a specific date each year?
I heard it was something to do with the moon phases...?
I've asked a lot of Christians and Catholics and no one can answer me.
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoBest way to wear a g-string? (thong)?
My friend is having her hens night for her wedding. She gave all the girls a white g-string (thong) and told us to wear it in a creative way. The most creative idea wins a prize. My question is, what should I do with the underwear? One girl is hooking it to her shoulders and attaching a cape. I need a better idea! (Not just an arm band or superman style undies, be creative!)
12 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoWhy do people do this?
It kind of irritates me when a question is asked and about 5 people give the EXACT SAME ANSWER. I know in some cases, they all do it at the same time therefore didn't know there were going to be other people with the same answer. But I'm talkin about 4 day old questions where people add a new answer and it's exactly the same as the one above. Take 1 minute to read the answers before you click to answer! It's a waste of your time and a waste of points being given. As the asker, how can you choose best answer when they're all the same?
4 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoAussies! Where to move in WA?
Hey there, I'm from Melbourne and my partner and I are looking to move to Western Australia. Which area do you think would be best for us? We like the beach and party life, but don't want to go anywhere too touristy or busy. We will be searching for work but need to know what area to search for. Give me your best suggestions!
9 AnswersOther - Australia1 decade agoHow to get work in the WA mines?
My partner and I are looking to move to Western Australia to work in the mining industry. I know it's tough to get work but I have quite a few friends that have done it, so it IS possible. I will most likely get an office or even retail job somewhere else, but Aidan wants to work in the mines. He is a qualified air conditioning tech but there are no air con jobs online. What is the best way to go about it? Go over there and knock on doors?
