Burris Fullfield II 4.5x14x42mm??
Has anyone used this scope? I am considering putting it on my .30-06 since my last scope appartently has crapped out.
I most interested in knowing:
1) reliable?
2) are the crosshairs fine enough for long distance shooting, say up to 600 yds?
3) how well does the ballistic plex work?
I also wouldn't mind any other recommendations for a scope that has about 14x power and approximately 42 or 44mm lense for around $350. I know I can get a 12x Leupold at Wally's World for about $300 plus tax, but have heard their lower end scopes haven't been as reliable as they used to be. Can anyone confirm? Thanks,

I don't have that exact scope I have an old 3x9. I am very happy with it. I just had normal fat to skinny hairs.
If I may offer another suggestion. Try the monarch series from Nikon. If you wait for a sale you can get one for around 350. For that price range they seem to be the clearest and have the most light collection. I am really thinking about getting one myself. I have used the BDC and I really liked it. Also you have more power options with the monarchs. Also the side focus helps keep everything sharp when you are really reaching out there.
Both good scopes and whatever you go with is a good choice
