Why would somebody's Q&As be private?

If they're not in categories of a personally sensitive nature, I can only imagine that it's to disguise the fact that two users are cheating by constantly voting for each other's answers.

Any other good reasons?

Because there has been cases where people follow the questions of someone they hate, reports all of them and Yahoo closes the account of the victim.

Some people has lost his 7 year old account.

It's not clever to show your questions and answers. Not at all.

Another reason: If you tell a friend you have made a question he can detect it and track all of them. Would you like your friends to know everything you've asked here? Your fears, your questions about sex, your personal problems with them, everything? Please answer.

So that you won't reveal your personal details.

Some time we ask very personal questions.and there are many people out there who would go through your Q&A and search for a content to report violation. there are really some psychos out there.
