lol @ UPS package question in TTC, the TTC people want packages too [in their tummies]! Nice strategy to post it in the wrong section- you're right! no one looks unless it's out of place!

They will try one more time. They should have left a note. My aunt drives UPS, and after the 2nd attempt, they will send it back to the sender. (They usually return the very next day, but some wait for 2-3 days before returning.)

    good luck

I used to work at UPS. They will make 3 attempts to deliver your package. They should have left you an info-notice. It will be yellow and brown and should say the date they attempted delivery and who the package was to. If you miss the 3 attempts, UPS will hold your package for 5 business days. If you want to pick up the package rather than wait for the next attempts call 1-800-pick-ups. You can set up a will call . This is were you pick the package up at the center. You could also request delivery at an alternate address, ie work, or a friends. If you do not get the package within 5 days of the last delivery attempt it will be returned to the sender. The post office and UPS are not the same thing and the post office has nothing to do with UPS. Good luck, and if you have any questions just call the 800 number.

They usually come back the next business day. If you miss them too many days then they take it to the post office and leave it for you to pick it up. Look for the pink slip in your mailbox telling you to go to the post office. The package will not be at the post office until after you get that paper- it'll be with the delivery person. Call ahead if you are still unsure.

u can pick it up today after 7pm..but they will come back two more times and then after that they will keep it at ups for a couple days before sending it back to the sender. If you want to pick it up before 7 pm, go to their website and put in your tracking #/door tag # and you can change the delivery option to pick up. you should have no problems or you can call them but i prefer the website method.

They will usually try to deliver it again. Try calling UPS and let them know. The place below explains in detail their delivery policy when they don't get you at home the first time.

they usually wil try again the next day. sometimes they will leave a note saying they will be back. If you are worried about not getting it. Just write a note say dear ups please leave my package if no one is home and take this note as proof of signature. and then sign and date the paper and they will leave your package.

they usually leave a notice saying they were there and that they'll come back, or you could just go to the office.
