GH Fans Does anyone Think?

I agree. Amy was a core fixture on GH for many,many years and she deserved a tribute.

Epiphany's character took over the job, not Amy's place ; the characters are two different people therefore there was no reason to say why she took over the job , also there was no need to announce the change they only announce change when a new actor is playing the same character, however i do agree they could have given her more than that in loving memory thing at the end they should have re caped a few clips of her episodes.

I think Amy Vining was central to GH...at least they could have done a scene where Luke goes to see Laura to tell her that Amy died from some kind of accident. The writer's they have now on the soaps have no appreciation for the history.

I just watched GH on soapnet. I was disappointed at the memory of Shell Kepler. I was expecting at least 5 minutes at the end, showing some scenes and explaining who she was. It was a bit pathetic, but better than nothing I guess. She deserved more for as long as she portrayed Amy Vining on the show.

I would imagine the writers will probably make some mention of her in the near future. It probably won't be much, but there will undoubtedly be some acknowledgment. If they're going to end Amy's life, some next of kin will have to be notified; presumably Leslie.

Most viewers don't know who she is! It's been several years since she's been on the show and really what purpose would there be in mentioning her. Lucky nor Lulu have ever mentioned Amy so it would almost seem tacky for them now to gush over a dead "aunt".

Yeah they should have done something. Like mentioned something happen to her and she died. And have everyone have flash backs of her on the show. Or maybe a funeral. Something. I could understand if she was just one the show once or twice but she was good at her role on GH.

They should have showed some episodes but must have not been able to figure out how to incorporate in storyline.... at least there was some acknowledgement.

You are so right. They should have did a whole show on her. She played a very good role when she was on GH.
