We're interested in the topics.

P.S. No, atheism isn't a "lack of religion". It's a "lack of belief in a god or gods".

I think they come here to laugh at the believers. but they are doing no harm. they have a right to believe as they want. who are we to judge them. when religion is based on violence and greed, and hatered. religion has taken the loving word of god and warped it so much, that no wonder people dont believe in him. athiest are smarter than all of you because they at least dont listen to every word they were told. If I hadn't had some proof that there was a other side, and proof that god is real, I would probably have been athiest too.

We are very opinionated with regards to religion. To say that I don't believe in God means I have an opinion about the subject. That is why I am here, and I am sure many other atheists are the same. We enjoy discussing and commenting on religion.

I guess they can't lash out at someone face to face, so this is a safe place. I don't know what they are doing in religion, since atheism is the lack of any religion. They need their own group for sure.

It may be that internet users are more intelligent than the population as a whole. That would increase the percentage of atheists using it.

I'm not an athiest, but I know the tools athiests use.

I can see the damage caused by not following the advice of athiests.

Whether we believe in god(s) or not, religion influences our culture to such an extent that we can't get away from it.

Under those circumstances, it's perfectly reasonable for atheist to have an interest in religion and it's impact on society.
