Does anyone remember the movie with John Travolta when he was a child---"the boy in the bubble"?

I think that was the title and that's how I feel at the moment. I messed up and got in trouble for a no accident--no injury DWI case and am on the electronic monitor. I expect no pity, but need some "cheering up" from you guys---especially the smart a** responses. Hey, at least I can admit I made a mistake---just would like some interesting responses.

It's getting good guys and gals---please keep it up. I need to laugh, hell, I can't even go out on the porch or garage. When they say lockdown on house arrest, they mean it.

The Boy in the Plastic Bubble. I was in elementary school and infatuated with JT when this movie first aired. It was literally all I thought about the next day. I actually remember kind of "waking up" in school and realizing I had moved around like I was supposed to, but had actually missed the whole day. I thought about it a lot that whole week. No smart alec answer here, but how about some lyrics from the theme song?

Yeah but couldn't the boy in the bubble go out on the porch or in the garage? I thought he even went to school one day. That would suck. You could light the house on fire and see if that was a valid reason and also test the responce time of your local fire department.

So sorry that you are wrapped up in that bubble..I saw that movie on TV and thought It was really strange and really weird.
Did you see that other movie about that kid, that I think bounced all over the place in his bubble?  It was a newer movie.
They may try and put you in that bubble,  but, you will bounce out of this one to.
Hey you have to watch out for those DWI's  they can bounce right up and hit ya in the seat of your pants.

when i read ur Q, i immediately thought of tyler perry's movie, i think it was "diary of a mad black woman', with madea being on house arrest, it is hilarious, she tries greasing up her ankle with butter to try to get the monitor off her ankle. 
yep, i've gotten in trouble with the law because of drinking.  a word of advice, never kick a state trooper in the b*****.
