Getting frustrated at 37 weeks?? want baby out!?

I'm getting really tired and fed up with this pregnancy, as most women are at this point.

I've had nothing but a lot of pain and discomfort this entire pregnancy, had BAD round ligament stretching and pubic bone pain since day one. And now it's my blood pressure fluctuating like crazy, up down....all over the place. I just started swelling up in my hands and feet, and have had a inner ear infection for over a month now, and to top it off such bad acid reflux that it's burning all the way into my ears which are already uncomfortable with the inner ear infection with that, I'm constantly dizzy and have a never ending headache.

Now I know baby is best inside me, I've had a biophysical ultrasound baby is measuring big, already 8lbs 6oz.

I took castor oil with my first (who is a year and a half old, so caring for her is just icing on the cake being so exhausted from this pregnancy) I really want it over I need some other ideas to help baby out.

I dont want to feel like I have to tak

Update:

e castor oil again, now I dont need a bashing for castor oil, it worked well with my first and I dont entirely believe the horror stories of bowel movements on part of baby, but I would like some ideas that cause less severe contractions.

I'm trying to have sex to help induce but so far the pay off isn't all that great for me, I'm in too much pain!!!!!

And walking is killing me with all the sudden swelling I've taken on.

Anything else work for anyone?????

Castor oil is tempting cause my daughter was out within 6 hours of taking it last time, and the cramps and poo was nothing compared to what I'm dealing with now!

Update 2:

I';ve lost some (maybe all I dont know) of my mucus plug, that started coming out three days ago, but seems to have stopped, and I'm getting contractions although I cant really feel them, but according to my fetal test strip today I was having them.....and last doc visit I was 1-2 cm, but that was over 4 days ago.

Update 3:

I've heard that nipple stimulation has to be done correctly or it can cause nasty contractions as well, this this true?

Sorry for such a long question....I'm just so sore and tired of this. I'm totally not having anyone kids after this one!

Update 4:

Actually baby seems to be as happy as a clam in water (almost literally) on my fetal stress test, baby was very happy, I'm the miserable one!!!! lol

Update 5:

Sorry to get personal but I was just rolling my nipple and had a big contraction, and it's still at this moment happening....maybe it'll help.

Me 2, 38 weeks and totally miserable...I am going to wait for a few more days then I am going to try all these in the same day!!!! Yeah by the way most of these are not recommended by doctors or mid wives....

    1. Nipple stimulation ( I read a woman pumped her breast 2 hrs on each breast...went to bed...a couple hours later she was in labor) Nipple stimulation releases a hormone oxytocin, which causes the uterus to contract.

    2. Have an orgasim...which also releases oxytocin...also semen contains a substance known as prostaglandins, which will help soften the cervix.

    3. Stretching of the uterine opening membranes. This can be done by your doctor or midwife and has been found to increase the chances of labor starting within 48 hours.

    4. Complementary therapies. Acupuncture, massage, teas, herbs and homeopathic remedies can be helpful when it comes to inducing labor. However, make sure you go to a licensed practitioner who has experience treating pregnant women.

    5. Eat spicy foods and pinapple

    6. Castor oil

    7. Prostaglandin gel. This gel, which helps to soften your cervix, is applied to the back of your vagina. While the gel alone may be enough to start labor, it can also increase your risk of developing a fever, having diarrhea, cause fetal distress and possibly cause you to hemorrhage after birth.

    8. Gravity...walking, bumpy car rides, stairs, etc.

    9. Something with a bit less risk associated with it is having your water broken. However, to do this, your cervix needs to be dilated a few centimeters. Plus, some women find the procedure, which involves an instrument that resembles a large crochet hook, to be rather uncomfortable. While breaking your water can sometimes be enough to get labor going, other times this procedure needs to be combined with a syntocinon IV.

    10. Blue and black cohosh

These herbs are used often to induce labor. They may be particularly effective if you are having weak or irregular contractions. Blue cohosh is believed to make uterine contractions stronger, while black cohosh may regulate the contractions. Together, they work to make contractions more effective. Unfortunately, no studies have determined that these natural treatments are safe, or whether all versions of the herb available for purchase are of equal potency. Be sure to discuss any herbal treatment with your practitioner before attempting it, to see if it is a good idea in your situation.

    11. Syntocinon is a synthetic hormonal drug that is administered through an intravenous and causes your uterus to contract. It is a fairly reliable method of inducing labor. However, the side effects of this technique include an increased chance of needing a cesarean (due to a lack of progression) as well as pain medication; fetal distress; hemorrhaging after birth and the need for continuous monitoring of your baby.

Well that is what I have dug up...and if my baby doesn't decide to come soon on his own...let me know how it works...good luck and congratulations!!!

Poor you, I understand completely, at 29 and a half weeks I feel like that already lol! But seriously, castor oil is certainly interesting, I went through 2 bottles in my last pregnancy at the end (38 weeks) and it didnt seem to work. The encouraging things you can bear in mind are, that you are now considered full term and the baby is fully grown ( and a good weight too from what you say) and if he comes out now he would be fine, and secondly, you can expect him to appear anytime soon within the next sort of 3 weeks anyway...I know 3 weeks is like, a lifetime right now.

This sounds gross, but it worked for me last time, I am pregnant with my 5th and last right now, so I do know some things..on the day Hannah-Rose was born 18 months ago, my husband and I had lots of erm.. energetic sex, it certainly did work, as sperm can set off contractions...just a thought, and sorry to sound gross and graphic, but when youre feeling like you do, you will try anything I know!

Don't listen to the first answer, she obviously has issues that she wants to take out on you. I had a similar answer to a similar question when I was heavily pregnant! I know how frustrating it is, and I went 2 weeks past my due date with both of my girls! A good rant will make you feel slightly better. I know it seems like ages now, but you're not that far away and I promise that when you have your baby, you'll forget about those last few weeks and you'll know it's all worth it. Keep your chin up and good luck!

I have been thinking about doing the castor oil thing. I have heard it worked for some women and not work for others, but I am in the same boat as you. Miserable, round ligament stretching so that you want to kill someone while you just want to roll over in bed, pubic bone pain, belly pains, back pain and a 3 year old child along with a 23 yr old child also known as husband. All I can think of trying is lots of sex, I know it hurts but it might work soon, walking and staying active to get things moving. Good Luck to you and baby

  • There are many ways to stimulate labor, castor oil can be used 2oz in a glass of juice or stirred into yogurt. You may also use evening primrose oil that will ripen your cervix for labor. Nipple stimulation can be used to stimulate contractions as well. Blue Cohash also can be used every 15 min for up to 8 hrs until you start to contract. There are accupressure points on your ankles or you can go have an accupuncture treatment. Of course the sex is a good way to get prostiglandins to your cervix and release xytocin in your body to start contractions.

    Hello,

A good natural remedy for premature ejaculation can be found on this site http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=565

Rapid climax, early ejaculation, premature ejaculation, whatever you call it, it’s a problem plaguing hundreds of men, although many might not admit it. That’s because ever since ancient times sexual performance has been linked to a man’s virility and masculinity. It’s easy to understand then why a man might want to avoid talking about his ejaculation concerns, either with his partner or anyone else. However, premature ejaculation is actually the most common sexual problem faced by men. Whether it is a persistent concern, or just an occasional incident, most men have reported having some trouble with controlling their ejaculation at one point or another.

    Cheers.

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info/

infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.

If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).

two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.

Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.

The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/fd75a
