I didn't look at any of your youtube links, but I get the general idea.

When you elect a president or a governor or someone to a position of leadership, you are really electing the team that he or she can bring in to bring about the change in direction they envision. You ask about bringing in their friends...well, yes, to a certain extent that is to be expected. The leader needs a team of loyal confidants who also have the quality of being competent, too.

If you had an oversized job to do and a limited amount of time to do it, wouldn't you bring in a loyal base of friends or acquaintances to help?

Yes, they almost always do, for several reasons: First, anyone is likely to have greater trust in people (s)he has known for a long time. Secondly, a lot of people pitch in and work hard on a candidate's campaign with the unspoken understanding that they are going to be rewarded with desirable governmental positions if the candidate wins. Some candidates will do that more than others, but it's never going to stop.

My God, that was boring. Don't you have anything interesting? No? Didn't think so. If Hillary Clinton is elected AT LEAST she won't be bringing a racist, hate mongering preacher with her to Washington.

Yep, it's common practice. And I'd like to say that I hate and condemn it, but if I was president I would probably help my friends out too.
