What's a nice wedding gift??

I'm in my early 20s, so I haven't been to that many weddings. Next month my boss is getting married and I can't think of any good wedding gifts to get him.

I don't really want to give money or a gift card. Anything you can think of that you have received or wish you had received as a wedding gift???

Thanks so much for your help!!!

Update:

Thanks for the suggestions so far. They are not registered anywhere unfortunately!

Buy the couple a certificate at an upscale local restaurant.

They will get enough practical gifts in the form of dishes and blenders. They will quickly forget who purchased them.

Give them a night out together. It will be romantic, unique and memorable. Good luck!

Everyone already told you about the registered. So another good or great idea would be a very nice picture frame or maybe even on of the new digital picture frames. The are very nice. I'm sure being it is a wedding they will be taking lots of pictures.

I wouldn't get porn like that other writer said that would be as tacky as could be specially for a boss, at the wedding. Personally I would be very insulted and I"m sure they would feel the same. That idea is horrific. TACKY

Always, always, always, always follow the bridal registry. Always. Have I said that enough, LOL

One of the most frustrating things is getting "nice" gifts from people when that gift turns out to be nothing that matches your home, you already have 7, or you absolutely hate it. The registry should have been on the invitiation. If not then ask your boss where are they registered.

If not registerd then you're on your own. Common gifts are margarita glasses, a nice decorative something or another for the house, or a money card.

I know you said not money, but seriously money is the best gift. Brides and grooms get so much crap that they do not want. What they really need is money to pay for the wedding. If you are younger 50$ is excellent if you can swing it. Trust me they are so in the hole from the decorations, renting the hall, the food catering etc etc they need money right now. If you feel funny with only money get them a pretty but cheap picture frame and have a card with it with the money.

A nice bottle of champagne is always welcome, I find. Or if you know anything about your bosses wine taste, then get him a decent bottle (not TOO expensive otherwise he'll think he's paying you too much!)

Depending on how well you know your boss, maybe something fun like poetic fridge magnets or a picture frame that may match his office decor.

At the end of the day, as long as you turn up, looking fabulous & involving yourself in the joy of the day, maybe if you have a nice camera, take lots of photos, then I dont think he'll be all that bothered about presents.

i think a can't fail gift is a nice picture frame

ross, tj maxx and marshalls have great inexpensive frames in tons of sizes.

figure this way... they will have tons of pictures from the wedding and reception and can frame it and take it to work or keep it at home to enjoy

you can get a great frame for $10-15 and a gift box or bag from the dollar store. they are plenty pretty too

Pick something off the registry that is in your price range.

If there is not a registry 99% of the time that means the happy couple would prefer cash/gift cards so just give it to them. it's better than trying to be "unique" and end up wasting your money.

Try target, JcPenney, Macy's. Anything, for the kitchen, bathroon, bedroom or living room will be a great wedding gift and get neutral colors

A beautiful Wedding album, or a picture frame with their names and the date go to personalizationmall.com. Or crystal, like vase or champayne glasses. It's your boss so you want to stay sophisticated.

confident. a delightful wedding ceremony bag with some tissue paper contained in the perfect of it must be fantastic. there is not any reason to placed it in a field. in truth, i imagine the baggage are plenty a lot less annoying to do no longer to educate speedier.
