To earn someones respect is something of great value. Respect is something that is not just handed out freely. Respect is earned through actions and behaviors. To keep ones respect through the years is one of the greatest achievements. I can earn someones respect on a short term encounter, but to keep respect over years of interaction and engagement is not the easiest feat. When women respect men, or when a woman respects a man, that man is a lucky man. That man has achieved one of the greatest gifts in life. The respect and encouragement from women has empowered men throughout the ages to accomplish great things. Not only is it appreciated when a woman respects me, but it is highly treasured and cherished. I know that the respect of a woman is not something that is frivolously given away.
