Does any body agrees that Yahoo Answers should have negative points for stupid questions or abusive questions?

interesting question....what do you see as stupid or abusive? Since there must be millions of different opinions about this, I guess Yahoo Answers would stop existing....though I can't pretend that I haven't seen enough stupid questions to wonder about the same thing.

I don't think there are stupid questions but I do think there are some on here who do say abusive things to others and make remarks that are totally out of line. I just report those to yahoo answers and let them deal with them,that is how they get a paycheck for doing their job just as all of us try to do ours. I am grateful for yahoo answers because I have gotten a lot of good,informative information from here,and not even had to ask the question.

Yes, I think there should be negative points for abusive answers or (I don't want to say stupid) answers that are completely unrelated to the question. Happy Easter!

I agree as it is annoying that there nasty/raciest answers dont get reported but mine do I find this really unfair. I have seen a question which was Why are women all whores or something like that and then he asked another question being raciest against black people. Also nasty questions about ZOZO.

And rude answers aswell.

No, I favor the open exchange of expression. I am bothered by neither rude and/or stupid questions nor answers.

I think the idea of censorship appeals to people's want to control and oppress others. They then try to justify censorship by citing indecency or by pretending to be shocked, offended or damaged emotionally by something someone somewhere typed. When they should focus their energies on preventing a real loss, a loss of freedom.

If you can't relate to people in an open forum, you need to turn to something better than Yahoo customer care for your solution. I prefer my world Unfiltered.

yes, if your answer gets reported because it is a stupid question then it does put a negative 10 points, but some people report non stupid questions for no reason

Just report the rude and abusive questions and answers. Points will be deducted.

well you can report any questions you think is stupid watsoever anytime...but yeah only if there is more than 10 reports on the question...
