my eye is red. should i go to an urgent care facility or wait til tomorrow to see my eye doctor?
i doubt its pink eye. no irritation, no swelling, no tearing, no discharge. My eye is a bit red and there is a red circle around my pupil (where my contact was!). it doesnt hurt at all.
i just switched to a new kind of contacts i only had for a week.
i'm asking cuz i have to pay co-payments for both so i dont want the urgent care facility to send me to my eye doc anyway.
i know yall are not doctors and i AM going to the doctor but which one?

Your eye has blood vessels too. That's probably what you are dealing with, and you don't seem terribly worried, so perhaps a visit first thing tomorrow is do-able. Pain and irritation would prompt me to hit urgent care, but I'm with you on the co-pays - OUCH! I'm assuming you have determined to keep the contact lens out of the eye? If not, remove the lens. :) You don't want to mess around with your eyes, so consider carefully if it's worth waiting. :)

I was gonna say keep an eye on it but I didn't mean it to be funny lol.
But, I would just observe how it goes and if it worsens see the hospital. Would your doc be open tomorrow. It's a bank holiday?

i suggest going soon, not like going into labor fast, but make an appointment for soon.if you are unsure about what it is chances are a doctor needs to see it. And also, it might be just the new contact. maybe.
