How do i get rid of bruises quickly?

I have bruises on my arm and it doesnt look good...I dont even know how I got my bruises...I was just taking a shower when I noticed it.... How do I get rid of them? I mean get rid of the bruises quickly?

    when i had a bruise on my face once - my friend told me to put tooth paste on it ; at first i thought that is pathetic but i actually worked & my bruise was gone within about 3 days

    I heard to apply a piece of raw steak to the bruise and it will draw the color out of your skin.But I've never tried it.We hardly can afford steak.LOL

    to be honest, I don't think there is any way for you to get rid of bruises other than time.
