Are you afraid of Muslims?
I'm conducting a small study about the effects of media on minorities such as Muslims in the West. Are you in general afraid of MuslimsPlease don't answer this question if you don't live in a mulitcultural society. I'm Jewish and live in a very very Jewish neighbourhood and I dont think I can answer such questions because I haven't been around Muslims enough to actually be afraid of them. My point: only answer this question if you've had some enoucterment with muslims.
Thank you

Hi I grew up in a very Orthodox Jewish neighborhood too. No, I am not afraid of Muslims. I have some very close friends who are Muslim. I have even dated two Muslim men. I haven't encountered any problems that reflect what is going on in the Middle East.

One Muslim isn't a problem. Two Muslims aren't a problem. 100 Muslims isn't really a problem. But when Muslims get to be around 5% of the population they start demanding Sharia law to be implemented. THAT is a big problem.
Individually Muslims that aren't extremists are usually decent people, but as a group are absolutely not a people you want running a country.

properly I dont be conscious of if i'm an atheist or no longer yet i do no longer flow any of the religions. I do hate it on an identical time as human beings communicate and have a glance at to tell you the way large there faith is oftentimes through actuality they're oftentimes so close minded. i take great thing approximately to take to a guy at artwork each and for all time, if i could advance something shall we are saying approximately how the earth substitute into shaped he could end me and sty it substitute into made in 7 days. does no longer even hear to the scientific area of themes or the quite a few religions perspective. I do discover religions interesting and that i oftentimes discover i be conscious of greater effective approximately them then the human beings who've an inclination to declare they're of that faith. Its in trouble-free terms weird and wonderful and delightful. hmm dont be conscious of if that spoke back your query or no longer, yet i attempted lol

I know many muslims and I am not afraid of them in the least...maybe because I am not gay or jewish! Only joking, but still they are oridinary people, they have their view of the world, which happens to be different from the 'western' view. You need to be more worried about the government then muslims.

Well, Islam makes a distinct difference between believers and non-believers. Minorities behave different than majorities. My first step toward self-defence of my(non religious) lifestyle is dialogue. I hate to be afraid.

I live in the SF Bay of California (very diverse).
There's a little area called "little Kabul". I'm sure you can guess what nationality (and also religion) most of the residents there are.
My best friend is Muslim. I'm not afraid of that chump one bit! lol

Why would I be afraid of them? I know quite a few Muslims and they're very nice... one of them is a complete class clown, another a preppy girl... you get the idea. They're pretty normal.

No. Every single Muslim I have met has been super nice. That is what has formed my opinions, not the media.
