Personally, I believe that we should pray for God's will to be done....because He says in all things Thank Him......the good the bad and the ugly....it all comes from Him....
I pray for an open heart one that is soft and tender so that he can mold me into the woman that He sees when He looks at me.

We know that Jesus suffered and died for all of us, and that sometimes we will be made to suffer for Him. This is not His desire for His people, but as long as their is free will, suffering will still come to us as we are mocked and hated by the unbelievers and often even within the church, we will be hated because of those in church that feel we are too strict in our faith. Many only want a surface type of Christianity where it is only about what God can do for them.. without ever having any desire to give a thing back to the Lord.
When sufferings come we simplly stay with the Lord and pray , focusing on the fact that all problems are only temporary and that Jesus is coming soon, and that we already have the victory over every area of our life, if we will continue to love and obey the Lord .
We must consider it a blessing to be able to sacrifice for the Lord, and knowing that soon we will be taken to Heaven and then all suffering will end.
Focus on Jesus and never on the problem.

Heh, join the club. Having a cold isn't fun at all. I'll pray that you will find work. =) I don't really have any personal prayer requests at the moment. Maybe you could pray for my husbands' military unit. They're shipping out to Iraq later this year. God bless and feel better soon, =)

Memorize this verse -
2Cor. 4: 16 -18
16Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Thank God that He's doing His work in us in the midst of it all and keep praying for the grace to overcome the trials and not lose heart and give up. As Brother Yun suggested in his book, "The Heavenly Man" we shouldn't pray that persecution would end but that God would strengthen our backs.
And Thank God for the victory whether that be soon or later on. Thank Him also for not leaving us but doing His work in us.
A passing thought - Many are willing for God to do His work through them but not as many are willing for God to do His work in them. He must till up the ground of our hearts to remove the "weed seeds" and shallow, rocky ground like He spoke about in Luke 8: 5 -15

WE pray to fight the good faith of Faith, by folowing God all the way to total obedience.
WE pray that He will lead, guide and direct us by the Spirit to show us the ways of the Lord.
WE dont cry thru our sufferings, we pray thru them, knowing God will make us stronger, and will get us thru them all, if we abide in Christ, and remain faithful to God.
WE think of our sufferings and think how awful.
But oh my..
Look at the sufferings of Christians in other countries.
WE dont know sufferings here , but we will.
One day that will come to our country as well.
So we better be lined up with God so as to stay His and not be deceieved, a a true srong born again Christian that will stand up for JEsus for everything, even at threats of death.
Jesus died for us sins. HE didnt cry or whine. In fact, on the cross, he only wanted the to be forgive and said they didnt know. WE are to have the mind of Christ and His heart.
Only those of purt heart will see Gods face.
WE must love as HE loves, and forgive others and not give up praying for them, even our enemies.
United with Christ, we stand thru all things.
Being led by the Spirit of God. Be sensitive to that voice and hear fro that voice and then do as the SPirit says to do.
God bless you over and over again.
SFCU SPIRIT FILLED CHRISTIANS UNITED
YES AND AMEN TO THAT>

Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
I think we should ask that His will be done in it. God allows suffering for us to learn something. It may be that we need to learn humility, perseverence, or even trust. Look at your sufferings as learning experiences. Gold cannot gleam without the refining fire, after all.
If you read the Psalms carefully, David had much opposition and suffering, first from his own brothers, then from Saul, and later from his own sons. Through it all, David clung to the promises of God. God promised him when he was but a boy that he would one day be king over all Israel. It was almost 3 decades before that promise came to be, but David trusted that God would do what He said.
It's important for us to cling to the promises He has given. He promised us that if we remain with Him, He will remain with us. Thank Him for the things you go through that provide you with an opportunity to grow in Him. Ask Him for the grace to bear it, and the humility to learn from it. Ask that His will be done in all things. Praise Him for His lovingkindness in shoring you up, and praise Him for His ability to use what was meant for evil, for good.
Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Psa 27:1 A Psalm of David. Jehovah is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.Romans 8:18
Ask the Lord to strengthen us to not be completely consumed by our suffering but know and understand that glory shall be revealed in us,through our suffering.
"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."psalm 30:5
Ask Him to give us endurance to get through the weeping in the night and know that joy comes in the morning.
"But thou art holy, O thou that inhabit in praises of Israel."Psalm 22:3
He inhabits in our praise so praise Him.Give Him all the glory, tell Him how much you love Him and adore Him and tell Him how much you trust Him and that there is none above Him.
"For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."Matt 18:20
Gather with others and pray about your suffering. He shall be in the midst.
This is a great question!Thanx for asking!

Contemplate on the crucifix and His sorrowful passion that preceded it and offer your sufferings in union with Christs' sufferings in this way you will be able to glorify God and thus other souls will reap the benefits as well as yourself. Oh the Graces one can receive.

Suffering is very important. It is also very miserable. Pain is our alarm system. I first pray to find out what set off the alarm. Once I have figured out what set it off I look for what I can do to fix the situation and/or how I can use the experience to help others.

Believe it or not, with longsuffering. Our job is to pray and let the Lord help in due season. He will never be a second to late. God Bless sister.
