No...because mother is just the name called for the thing that has the baby, or kitten...
A kitten has a mother
A Puppy has a mother
A chicken has a mother
A calve has a mother
A pignet has a mother
The way your are asking it.....it would be babies have humans, not mothers.

IMHO, no. I believe the proper term to use is "related to". A relationship exists between mother and child, and female mammals do "have" offspring (kittens, children, pups, puppies, etc), but the offspring does not "have" a female parent, though there does exists a relationship.
You started the question with a the false premise that "babies have mothers". Babies do not "have" mothers.
Is this the logic exercise of which you wanted us to consider?

Well, kittens grow up to be cats, so no.
Cats have kittens, although the cats were once kittens, they are not when they mature.
