Does anyone know why cats love paper bags?

Because cats are goofy? It's probably because they just like the noise. =)

My cat likes to sit on plastic and paper bags. It keeps them cool just like the previous poster said. Plus it makes a noise that they like. Mine also likes to sit in paper bags and cardboard boxes for close shelter.

I don't know but it's so true.

MY mom works in a daycare and when ever she is preping for her projects and stuff the cat will jump on the bed and roll around in the paper. lol i love it!

They just like to hide it give's them a sense that they are safe in the bag and it is because they also like to explore alot.

They love the sound. It probably sounds to them like mousies chewing on things.

the noise is awesome plus its a fun place to play hide and seek with you or another pet

Noisy hidey holes, that's all I can figure out.

the sound it makes and they feel safe no back attacks

they love making noise and messes.
