Holy Manna
Lord send us manna from above,
Fill us all with a heavenly love.
Make us humble in all our ways,
Teach us humility, let us not stray.
Give us peace where we need it
Most, fill us all with the holy ghost.
Put joy in our life, enough to go around
Teach us to share what we have found.
Help us be gentle to everyone,
And tell about your only son
Give us faith to get us through
Until we can forever reign with you
Thank you Jesus for all you do
Help us to always abide with you.
Todd thank you for the links I really like the Casting Crowns.

thanks mandy lou for your poem.i'm lookin' at it just for the content, not for the style, cadence,or any technical sentence structure.i'm seeing it as simply a beautiful piece with great meaning from your heart.it brings a nod and a big smile from me the whole way through.
i'm very disappointed in the person that is attacking it because they're in need of a life;perhaps some of the negative folks should visit a different topic site once in a while, instead of camping on this one.opinions like yours are a dime a dozen.for every enlightend child of light like the authour of this poem there a thousand with the same close-minded opinion like yours .if they wouldn't judge the value of this collection of words on the basis of their belief system and find fault simply because they feel that because the authour represents light they must represent darkness ,possibly there could be some,at least neutral,if not common ground.
i found your poem VERY refreshing.don't stop writing.you're quite talented,and sincere,and it translates well onto paper. i'm a fan!.10/10...

Out of ten I give it an seven.
You wrote in a very traditional form, and for the genre it is fine. It could very well fit on a Christian version of Hallmark cards.
However, the poem will bring no converts to Christianity. It speaks to great-grandmothers and dogmatic simpletons, not people struggling with the modern world and its difficulties.
There will always be low intelligent people who are drawn to pie-in-the-sky solutions. But for the intelligent, your poem falls way short.

1/10 ; reinforces delusional fantasies with no factual basis, which have caused countless deaths.
If you only want christians to reply, say so in the question.
