can i install automatic locks and windows in my toyota?

I have a 2006 Toyota Corolla CE. Can I have automatic locks and windows installed on this? Right now I have manual locks and the hand crank windows. If anyone knows if this is possible and how much the cost would be , please let me know. Thanks!

I would say you have three options to choose from.

    1. If I am correct the locks alone would be about $600 to about $800 dollars (may very depends on where you go), but thats not what is going to kill you.. usually the cost of labor to install it will proabably be the kicker. Look around and try and find the parts for your door and see how much they cost.. (maybe a toyota dealer/ ebay/ any aftermarket brand) in your area then find the cheapest place to install them, but like they say... sometimes cheap isn't good.

    2. You can probably go to the Junk yard and probably find a corolla there (it doesn't need to be a 2006, it can be the years 2003 to 2007) that might have the parts that is undamaged. This will save you on some money, but finding parts that is not damaged is going to be another problem.

    3. Try and sell your 2006 Corolla for a great price... at least try and get how much you think its worth. Then when you finally sold your car you can get a another Corolla.. I am pretty sure you can find another 2006 or 2007 for cheap since the new models of Corolla is out.

I'm awfully surprised a 2006 would have manual locks and handcrank windows! Whoa... thats a step backward!

When you say manual locks, are they all manual? Or is there a "lock all doors" button?

My Camry locks were manual except there was the master lock/unlock button for the driver (this is important). I took it to a place, and had a remote starter installed for just under $300. Now I have keyless, and remote start :)

it's going to be costly. superb wager? $one hundred twenty + in straightforward terms for skill window mechanism replace, then you definately want the controls, and deploy. Throw in the locks, possibly $one thousand. specific, a million and 3 zeros. broking areas (new vehicle) Ask them, because of the fact this is possibly the only areas corporation.

I would guess you could, since normally you would had an option for those, and there should be space in there for them, but it won't be trivial if you do it yourself, and it's probably not incredibly cheap either.

yes it can be done but it will coast a lot to do but it will have to be done by a body shop or custamzing place it would be easyer and cheaper to get new doors off of one that has been wreaked even if they have to be panted it would probaly be cheaper
