Clean it out really good with bleach then keep it cleaned OFTEN. I scoop mine every other day and dump the whole thing once a week and wash it out and put fresh littler. Make sure it's maggots and not worms. Maggots are fatter and have a darker tip on one end. Worms will be in the cats feces and be very thin. This may sound gross but check your cat's bottom and see if you can see any of them around the opening. I would take her to the vet or even just a stool sample so they can check it, your cat may need meds.

GROSS!
Try cleaning it more often!! I've never ever had maggots in my litter box. You need to clean it at least once a week.
If you are cleaning it regularly, then you probly don't have maggots, your cat has worms. Either get some worming meds from your vet or a local pet store.

If your kitty box has little white maggot looking things in it it's because your cat has Tape Worms. You need to go to a Vet and get some dewormer. The kind sold over the counter WON'T WORK it's not made to kill tape worms. Oh and if your cat has Tape Worms it most likely has fleas. Thats what causes the worms so whyle your at the vets get some flea meds as well

omg if you get maggots you may not be watching what is going on enough.. I never heard of this before.... I do not have a kitty but we sit for a couple for a couple of weeks out of the year... wow I hope you get this straightened out... flys are the problem.

If you're scooping the cat box at least once daily, it's more likely that you're seeing internal parasites from your cat (worms). You need to see the vet and have your cat dewormed. Worms that look like grains of rice are caused by ingesting fleas so you'll also have to treat for fleas at the same time.

you clean the litter box.
that's just nasty. clearly you don't need to cat if you can't keep it clean. you have to CLEAN it like 2 times a week and change the litter, which mean, empty that litter and put new litter in it. you need to do that every 2 weeks.

There is no way that should happen... you need to clean that litter box everyday.
If you can't do it every day at the very least do it twice a week.
That is disgusting...your poor kitty
