tatoo care and treatment.?
I recently got a tatoo and now it is starting to scab oer. the other night I scratches a small piece of skin off and exposed the ink.
1. what kinds of things can I do to make it heal quicker?
2. will the scratch ruin my tatoo?
3. can it get infected? they told me not to get water in it for more than a few seconds. I'm afraid if I dont wash an open wound it will get infected

Proper tattoo car is very important to the healing process. Keep the tattoo moist with A+D ointment. It promoted healing and keeps the tattoo from being too dry causing itch. Don't scratch the tattoo. You may ruin the tattoo (depending on how healed it is) and you won't be able to tell until the whole tattoo is healed. You should be washing the tattoo daily with antibacterial unscented soap to ensure it's not being infected. Don't immerse the tattoo in water but it's okay to give it a quick wash. Be sure that you don't scrub the tattoo. Just lather gently and rinse. Make sure to pat dry and don't rub it.

1) put neoprene on it cover it that's the fastest way for healing
2) DO NOT SCRATCH IT!!! yes it will you will remove the ink
3) yes it can refer back to #1 and you will be OK
DO NOT PUT ANY SALT WATER OF ANY KIND ON IT!!!
you will remove your tattoo so don't do that
when you shower don't rub it pat it don't remove the scabs
you do all of this and you good to go enjoy your new tattoo
