Does anyone know how long misdemeaners remain on ones record?
My husbands son says no one will hire him because of his misdemeaners that happened a couple of years ago, so now he refuses to try applying anywhere.

well, sounds like he is not only a criminal he is a slacker too!

he is using that just for a reason not to look for work.
as a teenager i got myself into trouble like most other teenagers. i have never had a problem getting work because as i said most youth find them self in trouble once in there life time.
thats no reason to judge some one as most adults would also admit to playing up when younger.
as for how long does a misdemeanors stay on record i cant really answer that for you but here in aust its until 18 years of age.
