Religion is a generalized term. One can be religious about a multitude of things in this life. Being spiritual and being religious are not the same thing. One does not need a church etc or sit and listen to clergy of the Big Three (Christianity, Islam, and Judaism) in order to be spiritual. The most awesome place of worship I've ever seen has Mother Earth as its floor, the sky above as its ceiling, The trees and other plants as its walls, and all things living that Great Spirit created are the congregation.
