How many Seniors have AT&T or sbcglobal as their ISP?

I noticed mine went up from $9.95 to $15.95 in December and I fussed with them and brought it down to $12.95. Initially I wrote the BBB and they sent my complaint to another BBB out of town and I phoned them and they said the pile is high with compliants about this slapping us with a higher fee without telling us. When I phoned yahoo/sbcglobal they told me they first informed me by letter that the price was going up (I told them I didn't get that, they reiterated my address), still I didn't get it. They told me it was so my computer would speed up. I informed them it actually made my computer jam and go slower. I did put in a complaint to headquarters for lower cost for seniors and I suggest you do that as well. Strength in numbers.

I do have ATT and will follow Scotgirls tip. I won't tell.

I don't think I have seen the increase yet.

My daughter pays for my service, I was quite content to plug along with my dial up service. She decided she would take care of it so I could go faster, I've told her thanks for it a bunch of times, but she really don't know how much more I enjoy it. When she gets her bill though I'm sure if there is a raise on it she'll be jumping up and down on their heads til they lower it again.

I do. Will try to decipher my bill and check on any increases. Our phone bill and internet bill come "all in one" so it is very confusing to me. I'm sure they want it to be that way so I'll just go ahead and pay it.

I have the same set up SBC phone on AT&T lines. I don't think I got an increase yet but I will check!! Thanks...good qts!

Here's a secret insider tip -- call them up and tell them you're cancelling the service because of the charge.

Usually they'll take it off or give you something else as a bonus.

Hmmm, I have China Mobile! They charge $10 US a month. So, no I never complain.

No! Not yet and if I do,I will be calling them and see what they did and what the charge is for.
